The Renaissance and the Golden Ratio

Renaissance artists such as Michelangelo, Raphael and Leonardo da Vinci used the Golden Ratio in their paintings and sculptures to achieve beauty and balance.

Here we are experiencing the art and the math of
Leonardo's Vitruvian Man.

Are we really as tall as our arms are wide?
Let's find out!

We then go on to study the story of the Fibonacci Sequence and how the Golden Ratio shows up in other Leonardo da Vinci's artwork.

1+1=2, 2+1=3, 3+2=5, 5+3=8, 8+5=13....

Without any prompting by me (gotta love Seabury!),
 we love doing the math:

We observe how it shows up in nature:

(the swirl of a hurricane)

We start seeing it everywhere, including on us!
