April 10, 2013 Beverly Cleary

The Navigators have been reading the wonderful literature of Beverly Cleary. We have especially become acquainted with  Ramona Quimby, Age 8, the character featured in the a play we attended at the Rialto Theater in downtown Tacoma. We enjoyed lunch, a game of foosball and hanging out with the big kids at the Middle School and then came back to the lower school campus and made impromptu commercials to "sell" our books to our fellow classmates, an assignment that Ramona also was required to do with some very interesting results.

Lunch at the Middle School.

Observing the big kids during tech class.

This young man's project was a big hit.

Up close and personal
